Poker is a card game in which the winner is determined by his or her hand. In this game, each player is dealt two hole cards, and the community cards are three. The players are allowed to bet at the center of the table. The winner of a hand wins the pot, the sum of all the chips in the pot. However, if a player has a pair in the hole, he or she is said to have a better hand than the rest.<\/p>\n
A player who is all-in is said to have the best hand, but if that player folds, that hand is discarded and the remaining players are left with the other hands. These players have the privilege of making the first bet, but the obligation to do so is also given to another player. Each player has to place as many chips as the previous player has contributed to the pot. Hence, they are referred to as active players.<\/p>\n
The limit for the number of chips each player can bet varies, but it is usually two, five, or ten. The limit may change depending on the stage of the game, from two to five before the draw to ten after the draw. The limit can also change based on the number of exposed pairs. However, players may only raise or bet their chips if the other player has a pair of aces.
