Poker is a card game played with poker chips. In most games, there are at least seven players. There are different denominations for the chips, and players must have at least 200 of them. The lowest denomination chip is white; the next highest denomination is red; and so on. Blue chips are worth 10 or 20 or 25 whites, and dark-colored chips are worth two, four, or five reds. To play Poker, players “buy in” by buying chips. They usually buy the same amount as the previous dealer.<\/p>\n
A player should always respect the dealers. They don’t control the outcome of the hand, so arguing with them is not a good idea. Dealers also make mistakes, so if you notice any, it’s best to politely explain and ask the dealer to make the correction. If the dealer is not able to fix the error, call the floorman.<\/p>\n
The goal of the game is to make the best hand possible using the cards you have. If you have three of a kind or a pair, you have a strong hand. Similarly, if your opponent has a pair or a three of a kind, you have a weak hand. A weak hand, which is usually considered a three-of-a-kind, has a lower chance of winning.<\/p>\n
If you decide not to make a bet after reading the rules, you may decide to fold your hand. When this happens, all of the bets are collected in the pot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
